Save your game in the room beyond before continuing on. You won't find much through the right door, so instead travel left. Jump off the elevator and go down to the doors below. You'll find that Ridley's area is layed out much like the original Metroid, but in the visual department appears similar to Ridley's lair in Super Metroid. Ah, another familiar area complete with a familiar tune.
